Sol Halestrum knows all too well that they are one of the only people alive in 2503 who believes the Future-Dreamers, a mythical 22nd century community, actually existed. Willing to stake their reputation as an anthropologist, Sol founds a new field of study and sets out to find the proof needed to change history. But there have been no leads pointing to the Future-Dreamers existence, until now. 

Feeling the sting of ridicule, the ache of loneliness, and a lot of pent-up frustration, Sol accepts help from a humiliating source before setting off alone to try to change history. But what they find, will instead forever change them, testing the bounds of what Sol believes capable for life and love.
